It's been almost 10 months since my last post! I've immersed myself in my new job, house hunting, purchasing our first house, moving in, and preparing the home for winter. Mix in some business trips, a major vacation, a few novels read and limited internet access at home. Is it any wonder 10 months have flown by without a word?
Well, things are returning to normal. Winter is setting in. The heater is working. I've hit my stride at work. And the urge to get back to posting is really strong! I have a lot to tell you about.
Where do I start? Work is wonderful! It is right on so many levels. My family is putting down roots, making friends, and adjusting to a permanent life. Our first house is great on many levels, challenging on a few. My wife has blossomed as a writer, winning several contests, and she will have her first novel published next spring. We both have callings in our new ward. We just bought a full-size van to replace our maxed-out minivan. We're expecting our seventh child early next year and we found out it's a boy!
Add to those events all the new things I've seen, heard, done, thought, learned, dreamed and not blogged about and I'm really behind!
My goal is to recount one of these at least once a week. I need to get them recorded before these memories fade! Feel free to bug me if I slack off.
